Tour photos from January 28, 2018

Hello, travelers. This is Kumi. Picturesque Japan Blog welcomes you to Tokyo.

We started our tour from Hama Rikyu.
https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3025.html
Admission: 300 yen

The tea house here is lovely. We enjoyed matcha (powdered green tea) and small cakes.

The contrast between the traditional garden and modern buildings is spectacular!

From Hama Rikyu, we took a sightseeing boat to Odaiba (via Hinode Pier).

Shopping at Daiba 1-chome Shotengai.

So many cheap and funny items!!!

Pudding!??

They can't stop shopping. LOL

And become cats. LOL

This is the first bullet train (toy) which started operation in 1964.

Even if you don't know this era of Japan, you may feel nostalgia.

And we learned a little bit about octopus balls.

Lunch at Ocean Club Buffet.

Meat, sushi, salad, sweets, drinks... What more should we ask for?

For digestion, let's walk to the other side of the island.

At MEGAWEB TOYOTA City Showcase, you can touch new cars, see some future technologies, etc.

It's not just a showroom. It's like an amusement park!!

On our way back, we quickly checked out VenusFort Odaiba, too.

Everyone says, "Wow! This is like Las Vegas!" and I say "Yaa," but I actually haven't been there. So I should go there to make sure.

We took Yurikamome line back to Shimbashi.

I love this futuristic train. :)

It was such a fun day with fun people!! They said they'll be back to Japan soon on business, so I'm really looking forward to seeing them again soon.
