This website will be very helpful when you visit  Hakone . http://www.hakonenavi.jp/english/ We started our Hakone tour from Shinjuku station which is certified as the world's busiest station by the Guinness Book of World Records. Hello, travelers. This is  Kumi .  Picturesque Japan  Blog welcomes you to a luxurious Hakone tour. This website is very helpful when you visit  Hakone . http://www.hakonenavi.jp/english/ A lot of people go to Hakone by Odakyu line, but as this is a luxurious tour, we took a bullet train (shinkansen) to Odawara. It takes only 35 minutes! (*If you have a JR pass, this could be your option.) At Odawara station, we bought Hakone Freepass . http://www.hakonenavi.jp/english/freepass/ (*If you use the Odakyu line from Shinjuku, you should get the Freepass at Odakyu counter at Shinjuku station.) Then we took Hakone Tozan Railway to Hakone-yumoto. (15 min) You could take a bus to Motohakone area, but, we took a taxi (approx. 4,000 yen / 30 min) to the port.
