Hello, travelers. This is Kumi. Picturesque Japan Blog welcomes you to Sky Deck at Roppongi Hills.
Visiting Roppongi Hills is very easy. You can take the subway, get off at Roppongi station, and follow the signs.
Going up the escalators.
This is the building.
Please look for the observation deck called TOKYO CITY VIEW.
Here is the information. Please check the opening hours and the ticket prices.

(*Currently, it's 1,800 yen for an adult. If you go up to the outdoor floor called Sky Deck, you need to add 500 yen, so the total will be 2,300 yen)
After the security gate, take the elevator to the 52nd floor.
This is the floor where you can see the 360 degrees view through the glasses.
Some areas are quite good for photography. The lights are quite dark and you can place your camera by the window where you can avoid reflections.
However, if you want to experience something special, you should try the Sky Deck (*Currently, it's 500 yen). To go up there, you need to leave your bags here. If your bag cannot fit in the locker, you can leave it at the cloak on the same floor.
Take the elevator...
walk up the stairs...
to the deck!!!
This is a heliport. Isn't this cool?
You're allowed to walk only on the wooden floor.
Even though you cannot bring in tripods, you could place your camera at a place like this.
Or this. If you need to make an angle, you could use some papers etc. (You could fold the ticket to place under your camera!!)
There are some places to sit down. If you feel very cold or hot, you could go down to the 52nd floor, have some drinks, and come up here again.
I ended up spending more than an hour to take this night view.
