Hello, travelers and runners. This is Kumi. Picturesque Japan Blog welcomes you to Tokyo Marathon!

Today, we first visited Kuramae area and tracked where our friends are running using the app called "R-navi."

Well, even if you don't know any of the runners, you can enjoy meeting strangers. A lot of runners gave us high five. :)

Watermelon!?

You can see a lot of people in funny costumes.

Oh, yeah! Here he is!!!

Now let's walk through the Kuramae Bridge and go to the other side.

Superman!!

The dogs were also enjoying the event. The lady told me the one with the green scarf is "Ken" and the other one is "Atsu."

Ken insisted on staying here. LOL

Oh yeah! Here he comes again!

A black demon!?

Found her friend from Bermuda in the distance.

Cute cheerleaders.

Uh-oh. The yellow bus is following the runners to pick up the ones who couldn't pass points by a certain time.

25KM.

It's been 2 hours 52 min 57 sec. Hmm... I cannot even run for 52 minutes. LOL

It's fun to look at people who are cheering.

The volunteer members are doing great. I heard people really appreciate the Tokyo Marathon because it's really well-organized.

FYI: This is a photo from New York Marathon. LOL

Well, I love New York so much! I'm still really obsessed.

Anyway, let's go back to the Tokyo Marathon. We took the subway from Asakusabashi to Mita.

Oh, here comes my college friend, Shigeru!!! Hey! You're doing great!!!

Nice to be obvious when you cheer up someone.

What is he? Hot spring prefecture, Oita? Nice!

Here is her friend! What a nice smile!! Aren't you tired???

And her husband!! Go, go, go!!!

Now, let's go to the goal area. In order to go into the meeting area, we need to go through the security check.

Got some non-alcohol beer. Yay, but too cold. LOL

Here he comes!!! What a sweet couple!!!

I introduced my friend to the runners from Bermuda.

And enjoyed the photo session. :)

Congratulations on completing the Tokyo Marathon!!!

Have a good rest tonight. :)
