Ginza walk

Hello, travelers. This is Kumi . Picturesque Japan Blog welcomes you to Ginza. My guide friends and I started walking around Ginza from Kabukiza theater (Higashi-ginza sta on Hibiya line). Exit 3 takes you to the theater. There are some shops on the 2nd basement level. Free WiFi is available around Ginza area. You can go up to the 5th floor for the Rooftop Garden! Not super spectacular, but it's nicely small and cozy for relaxing.  There is a small gallery (free admission) on the 4th floor. If you want to know more about Kabuki, "Kabuki-ni-Touch" with more detailed and fun exhibition on the 5th floor is for 600 yen. You could relax at the tea house on the 5th floor called Jugetsudo. You can experience tea ceremony here. This article on matcha-jp will give you more information. https://matcha-jp.com/en/1506 By the way, this is Kabukiza from outside. If you go there directly from the subway, you might forg...

Hello, travelers. This is Kumi . Picturesque Japan Blog welcomes you to a greedy Kamakura tour. This was a day with my tour guide friends. When tour guides visit places, we tend to be very greedy because we wish to check out as many places and things as possible for our future guests. Therefore, we ended up visiting TOO MANY places for one day. This is NOT relaxing at all, but this will give you the idea about what's possible for one day. 10:00 a.m. We met at Kamakura station. There is a tourist information center just outside the station where you can get a free English map. At first, we visited Hokokuji Temple by bus. https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3120.html The bus leaves from the bus stop #5 and you can take the bus number 鎌23, 鎌24 or 鎌36 . Get off at " Jomyoji " stop. (*There is no bus stop called "Hokokuji") Admission: 200 yen Tea service: 500 yen You need to pay 700 yen here if you want to have matcha (special green tea). 10:45 a.m. W...
